New set of wheels

Brandi Utley and Eric Lodge stand next to the new bicycles they won in Waynesboro Primary School's Accelerated Reader Program. They were two of the students who earned in excess of 100 points which entered them in the drawing for the bikes, purchased by the school through a Wal-Mart grant. According to Laura Withers, media specialist, WPS firstand second-graders read a total of 66,989 books and earned a grand total of 33,954 points. Two second-graders scored more than 300 points. The top reader with 315 points was Aubry Mallard, Christopher Etteh had 307.
