Three members of Town & Country Woman's Club attended the state Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) meeting in Atlanta recently and brought back two awards - a "1737" award and certificate of recognition. Alice Montgomery also received first place for her smocking. The clubs donated $61,000 for a lab at Tallulah Falls School, which is owned by the GFWC. Local members who attended the meeting were, from left, Lillian Richbourg, Linda Alexander and Gail Voyles. The club sent a monetary gift to a needy student at Tallulah, and Julie Cole was welcomed as a new member
