Cotillion/ Beautillion will honor 16 seniors

Sixteen high achieving seniors will be honored Saturday at the Debutante/Debonair Society's annual Cotillion/ Beautillion.

The program will be held in the J.D. Smith Auditorium at Burke County High School, beginning at 7 p.m.

The society, which was established in 1991, selects young men and women based on their academics and other standards. Each of the 16 students, who are all seniors at Burke County High School and Jenkins County High School, will be awarded with an academic scholarship.

Those selected include Aliegha Brigham, Callithia Bray, Chickeena Rowe, Gregory Collymore, LaShundra McNair, Nina McKelton, Roy Holmes, Shanieca Bush, Angel Reese, Chaddrick Parrish, Gary Collymore Jr., Krystal Roberts, Nikki Skinner, Quinette Herrington, Sedira LaCue and Waltrina Chance.
