Officer struck in teen fracas

      A fight in the Westgate subdivision ended with charges against four teenage girls, including one who allegedly hit an officer. Police were first called to the area Wednesday night and dispersed about 15 people, mostly teens, who were arguing in the roadway.

10 stolen golf carts recovered

      Police have recovered a fleet of stolen golf carts. It began last Monday when an officer noticed a cart hidden in some bushes along Railroad Avenue. The engine was still hot and the front end had been damaged.
