New tag available to support agriculture

A new tag is available to support Burke County's oldest industry…agriculture.

The "Support Georgia Agriculture" tag raises funds to support youth agriculture programs in Georgia. It may be ordered at the county tag office.

A special manufacturing fee of $25 is required to place an order. For each tag sold, $10 goes to the state's FFA and 4-H programs.

The idea for the tag came from 4-H and FFA members attending a summer honors program. Artist Mike Parson, of Winder, designed the tag using their ideas.
