      A root beer bottle may have spared the home of a Waynesboro man. He escaped injury when a burning Molotov cocktail was tossed through the bedroom window of his West Seventh Street trailer early Sunday morning.

According to a report filed at the Burke County Sheriff's Office, the 8-year-old victim was riding on the back of a fourwheeler, which was driven by another 8-year-old, when her jacket got caught up in a rear wheel.
