      The crowd was on their feet as the Spartans claimed their first victory of the season over Frederica Academy last Saturday. The Spartans (1-16, 1-7) faced Frederica once again last night (Tuesday) in the first round of the 2-AA Region playoffs. Results, however, were unavailable at press time.

      Lady Spartans head coach Lindsay Belcher says they may have lost, but the girls played like a team against Frederica Academy last Saturday in their last regular season game. They fell 48-42, dropping their region record to 2-6 and overall record to 5-11.
