Marchman leads team to championship
Knox Marchman, #4, a 10-year-old quarterback, led his team to a 14-0 record and a third consecutive Columbia County Championship. He threw for an all-time league record of 16 touchdown passes and added another nine on the ground. His team’s three-year record is 43-2. Marchman also led his team to a Youth Bowl Championship Series title when they defeated the Savannah Predators, 30-0. In the title game, Marchman added three more touchdown passes. He is the son of Mitch and Kristi Marchman. Grandparents are David and Beverly Moncus and Larry and Sandra Askew, all of Waynesboro.
