Burke County High School students and supporters are celebrating Homecoming this week.

The annual homecoming parade will begin Thursday at 5 p.m. and will travel through downtown Waynesboro from the Huddle House on South Liberty to Southern Bank on the north end of town.

Following the parade, fans will make their way to the football stadium for a community pep rally, where the Homecoming court will be introduced.

After the pep rally, a bonfire will begin burning in the lower parking lot beside the Bear Den.

Students are also showing their spirit this week by donning different themes of dress each day at school with Jersey Day, Sunday Best Day, Tacky Day, Patriotic Day and Spirit Day.
