Grandparents Day at WPS

Christy Palmer's first-grade class made invitations to invite grandparents to come to school to celebrate Grandparents Day by having breakfast with them at Waynesboro Primary School. The students sang songs, read poems and then presented their grandparents with their illustrations and writings. The students served their grandparents breakfast while they enjoyed a slideshow presentation of pictures Palmer had taken throughout the first few weeks of school. More than 30 grandparents and family members were in attendance. Pictured, Jaylon Glissson sits with his grandma, Sandy Mayes, as she reads what he enjoys doing when he visits her home.
