On the move

Frank Hunter recently donated a vehicle to Burke County's DUI/Drug Court program so that he and fellow surveillance officer Susan Salemi could spare their own vehicles the wear and tear acquired when "showing up" at the homes and workplaces of the program's participants. Hunter and Salemi travel throughout the county and surrounding areas, as far as Thomson, to check the progress of those enrolled in the court program. Hunter said the visits are getting results and are serving as a way to make sure participants are staying on track.
