Sex offender sentenced for relationship with teens

      A local man has pleaded guilty to having sexual relationships with two underage girls as young as 13, one of whom has since given birth to his baby. Patrick Lamar Roberson, 22, was arrested in June 2005 on felony charges stemming from his misconduct with the girls.

      Go to sleep! A Waynesboro woman called the sheriff's office on Saturday because her husband wouldn't stop talking. According to the report, the woman said her husband was intoxicated and talking so loudly that she couldn't sleep. She told officers he had not harmed her and that she just wanted him to be quiet. He agreed to sleep in the camper trailer in the back yard.

Argument leads to stabbing

      Police responded to Burke Medical Center after a Waynesboro man said his girlfriend stabbed him in the back with a knife. According to a report filed at the Waynesboro Police Department, the victim said he and his girlfriend got into a verbal argument on Sunday afternoon which eventually led to an altercation.
