After two wins during the 2- AA Region tournament last week, Edmund Burke Academy's Lady Spartans took a third place region finish and claimed their spot in the state playoffs. More ... Burke County wrestler Marcus Stephens claimed the region championship for his 125-lb. class, then followed up last week with a fourth place state win at the Gwinnett Arena - the highest spot ever earned by a Burke County High School wrestler.
