      Members of the 1966 class of S.G.A. High School celebrated their 40th class reunion at Frank's Restaurant recently. The class, which consisted of 22 members, graduated on June 6, 1966.

S.G.A. Character Cubs for December
      "Generosity" was the character word at S.G.A. Elementary School for the month of December. Students were chosen by their peers, received a T-shirt from Planter's EMC and were treated to a special lunch with principal Sam Adkins and the school's mascot. Citizenship Character Cubs at S.G.A.

      Swainsboro Tech Swainsboro Technical College has released its president's list and merit list for fall quarter 2007. Area students chosen for the merit list were Amanda Baker, Cynthia Adams, George Redd, Jennifer Price and Terri Brantley. They were required to complete five to 11 credit hours while maintaining a 3.60 grade point average or higher.
