Bargeron home featured on tour
The 2006 Sardis Christmas Tour of Homes will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, and features four stops in the Sardis, Girard and Alexander communities. The tour is sponsored by the Old S.G.A. Restoration Committee, and proceeds will help with the restoration of the school. Tickets can be purchased from any committee member and at various locations throughout the surrounding communities. Transportation and refreshments will be provided, and the tour's pickup location will be at the old S.G.A. lunchroom. Pictured above is the home of Duane and Cynthia Bargeron, located at 3174 Stoney Bluff Road, Girard. Guests will be treated to the Bargerons' growing collection of unique childhood ornaments that decorate the home with memories. There will be trees of all shapes and styles, including the White House Tree, which are just a few of the hidden delights of this holiday home.
