The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Waynesboro Police Department:

Saturday, Sept. 30

 Bruce Allen Ward, 51, of 5166 Mims Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property.

Monday, Oct. 2

 Isaac Prophet III, 25, of 1077 Hephzibah-Keysville Road, Hephzibah, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for aggravated assault, battery, three counts of cruelty to children in the third degree, criminal trespass and possession of a

Lohoh2 ooook'k's firearm during the commission of a crime.

 Maurice Bethune, 34, of 1599 Rosedale Road, Sylvania, was arrested for contempt of court.

 Vivian Ann Cooper, 42, of 23 Magnolia Acres, Waynesboro, was arrested on a Richmond County warrant for probation violation.

 Bob Lee Sellers, 33, of 10427 Hwy. 23 South, Girard, was arrested on a Treutlen County warrant.

 Loren Letwaine White, 33, of 117 Lovers Lane, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple battery and theft by taking.

Tuesday, Oct. 3  Charlie Edward Mobley Jr., 21, of 709 Wallace St., Waynes- boro, was arrested on Superior Court bench warrants.

Saturday, Oct. 7

+ Latoshia Roshan Gilmore, 28, of 192 Shibar Lane, Waynesboro, was arrested for fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer.

 Shannon Valencia Shonta Gaines, 30, of 702 Penn St., Waynesboro, was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license (third offense) and failure to obey a traffic control device.

 Bennie Williams Jones, 34, of 865 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license (third offense) and violation of headlight requirements.

The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Burke County Sheriff 's Office:

Monday, Oct. 2

 Antonio Dewayne Hopkins, 28, of 277-A Thankful Church Road, Girard, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (Sardis Police Department case).

Tuesday, Oct. 3

 Dontel Yarnell Hankerson, 29, of 1035 Hwy. 56 North, Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol for driving with a suspended license and violation of the Georgia Seatbelt Law. A $1,675 property bond was posted.

 Horace Eugene Wesby, 22, of 382 Shell Bluff Spur, Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol for driving with a suspended license and speeding (72 mph in a 55 mph zone). A $1,675 property bond was posted.

 Isaac Prophet III, 25, of 1077 Hephzibah-Keysville Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for two counts of battery and cruelty to children in the third degree (Family Violence Act).

Sunday, Oct. 8

 Tony Anthony Jenkins, 43, of 108 Grove St., Sylvania, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol for DUI. A $1,300 property bond was posted.
