Teen accused of molesting child

A local teenager will be charged with child molestation following an incident with an 8-year-old.

According to a report filed at the Burke County Sheriff's Office, the boy allegedly forced the girl to have sex with him in the bedroom of his Burke County home on Oct. 9.

The child's mother told officers the teenager admitted to her that he'd had sex with the child.
