Sub-region action begins Friday with Liberty County
     After opening the season with a pair of losses, the Burke County Bears have put together three straight wins and have outscored its opponents 75-6. They take their success to Hinesville Friday night for a 3A-AAA showdown with Liberty County.

     Despite their 8-18 overall record, the Burke County Lady Bears softball unit is 5-5 in subregion and will play in the region tournament Friday at Diamond Lakes.
