Parkers celebrate 50 years of marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Milton Parker Jimmy Milton and Janie Davis Parker of Sylvania will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, June 16, 2006.

To celebrate a life of sharing and caring, and a love of endless giving together, the couple's children have planned a dinner for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Screven County Recreation Department. All family and friends are invited to attend.

The Parkers have eight children: Wanda Beard, Sheila Snow, Sharon Hagan, Nancy Edenfield, Cyndie Monroe and Matt Parker, all of Sylvania, Janice McMillan of Statesboro and Debra Vaughan of Jefferson. They also have 23 grandchildren and one greatgrandson, Rylan Robbins of Sylvania.
