Miss Emily Amanda Bailey became the bride Mr. Ronald David Adams 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 at The Georgia Golf Hall of Fame’s Botanical Garden in Augusta.

The Rev. Randy Adams of Royston, brother of the groom, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy H. Bailey of Lincolnton. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Randall Adams Sr. of Sardis.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Augusta Suzuki Strings, and Dr. Mark Cheek played the bagpipes.

Katherine R. Bailey, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Janet Bailey of Augusta, sister-in-law of the bride, Gwen Maahs of North Augusta, S.C., cousin of the bride, and Elizabeth Simons of Augusta, cousin of the bride.

Harley D. Miller of Waynesboro, daughter of the groom, was the junior bridesmaid.

All bridal attendants wore floor length satin gown in navy blue.

Mary Bailey of Augusta, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Joel E. Adams served as his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Travis Sturdivant of Waynesboro, D.J. Williams of Blythe and John Hutcherson of Augusta.

Joshua Adams of Royston, nephew of the groom, was the junior groomsman, and Evan Bailey, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.

The groom wore a Scottish kilt in the Gordon plaid.

The bride chose a strapless gown with embroidery on the bodice and hem.

She carried a bouquet of white roses and Queen Anne’s lace.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple makes their home in Waynesboro.
