Mrs. Judith F. Martin, 70,
of Waynesboro entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Martin was a retired homemaker, a Methodist and served her country in the U.S. Marine Corps.Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Martin of Waynesboro; a son, Terry L. Martin of Northville, N.Y.; a daughter, Deborah L. Reynolds of Georgetown, Ky.; mother, Henrietta Phillips of Sche-nectady, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Ira L. Martin, Eric Proulx and Danya Proulx; and two great-grandchildren, Chandler Proulx and Nikki Proulx.

Mr. Charles H. Elliott, 78,
of Sardis entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Sardis Baptist Church, with Dr. Bill King officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Elliott was a lifelong resident of Sardis. He retired from Perfection Industries and farming and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. Mr. Elliott served his country in World War II in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn J. Elliott of Sardis; a son, Charles (Herbie) E. Elliott Jr. of Sardis; three daughters, Margaret F. Odom of Sardis, Rose E. Chandler Johnson and Darlene E. Lamb, both of Martinez; a brother, Norman A. Elliott of Sardis; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Norman Elliott, Ricky Elliott, Bill Elliott, Terry Lee, Al Smith, Hal Dixon, Paul Elliott, Roy Chandler and Mark Hopkins.

Mr. Mitchell Marion “Micky” Daughtry, age 56,
passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 17) at the Macedonia Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior. Burial with full military honors will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Daughtry was a Bulloch County native, graduating from Marvin Pittman High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was medically retired. Mr. Daughtry was a 1993 graduate of Georgia Southern University and had lived in Waynesboro for the past several years. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Daughtry was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Daughtry. Survivors include his wife, Carol Elaine Belin Daughtry of Waynesboro; three daughters, Willis and Jodi Lynn May of Waynesboro, Jennifer Elaine Daughtry of Statesboro and Joseph and Julie Ann Taylor of Waynesboro; two sons, Scott and Sarina Daughtry of Statesboro and Mitchell Daughtry Jr. of Waynesboro; one sister, Carolyn Jenkins of Statesboro; two brothers, C.L. Daughtry Jr. of Millen and Freddy Daughtry of Statesboro; and four grandchildren, Warren Daughtry, Katelyn Daughtry, Breeanna Daughtry and Joseph Allen Taylor Jr.
