Burke County Sheriff
The
following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's
Office for the past week:
Sunday,
Aug. 11
William Campbell, 39, of 4911 A Pineland Drive, Savannah, was arrested
by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) for DUI, driving with a suspended license
and speeding (73/55 mph zone). Bond was set at $2,545.
Grace Elizabeth Fray-Coker, 39, of 266 Shell Bluff Landing Road, Waynesboro,
was arrested for interfering with child custody. Bond was set at $1,100.
Charles Joseph Johnson, 23, of 266 Shell Bluff Landing Road, Waynesboro,
was arrested for interfering with child custody. Bond was set at $1,100.
Monday, Aug. 12
Shalonda Ann Jones, 27, of 870 Waters St., Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was
set at $1,445.
Tremeka Danielle Jones, 24, of 115 Lee St., Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple assault and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $920.
Gestit Suviola Lewis, 23, of 506 9th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was
set at $2,200.
David Bedenbaugh, of T & J Country Store, reported a burglary.
Tuesday, Aug. 13
Terica Shaneene Mobley, 25, of 707 Penn St., Waynesboro, was arrested
for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $345.
Matthew Dixon reported an incident of theft by taking.
Stefan Eastmead reported losing a piece of property.
Investigator Dan Lowe reported a false public alarm.
Deputy Joe Taylor reported a recovered stolen vehicle.
Deputy Joe Taylor reported an accident with injuries.
Linda Elliott reported receiving harassing phone calls.
David Sanders reported finding a wrecked and abandoned vehicle.
Wednesday, Aug. 14
Derrick Tyrone Boyd, 26, of 203 Rosemary Way, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for criminal damage to property in the second
degree, simple battery and interference with a 911 call. Bond was set
at $5,400.
Tremeka Danielle Jones, 24, of 115 Lee St., Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was
set at $1,445.
Lillian Shaw reported someone in violation of a no contact order.
Deputy Brian Jackson reported the obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
Patricia Mobley reported a suspicious activity.
Martha Jones reported a burglary.
Friday, Aug. 16
Gestit Suviola Lewis, 23, of 506 9th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was
set at $1,445.
Erica Tiena Harrison, 20, of 1520 B Highway 56 North, Waynesboro, was
arrested for simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree.
Bond was set at $1,445.
Lewis Edward Kelly Jr., 31, of 731 Dixon Ave., Sardis, was arrested under
the Family Violence Act for simple battery.
Claude Daniel Williford Jr., 36, of 861 Allen Road, Hephzibah, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for aggravated assault, possession of a
firearm during the commission of a crime, battery and pointing a gun at
another. Bond was set at $7,845.
The Burke County EMA reported a four-wheeler accident with injuries.
Burke Medical Center reported an owner was bitten by his dog.
Saturday, Aug. 17
Jacob Alexander Nasworthy, 26, of 132 Burton St., Midville, was arrested
by the Midville Police Department under the Family Violence Act for simple
battery. Bond was set at $1,625.
Jimbob Roswell, 28, of 2670 Farmers Bridge Road, Hephzibah, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for simple battery. Bond was set at $1,100.
Jack Phillips reported a burned vehicle.

Richard Harrison Wagner, 51, of 4765 D Highway 80 East, Waynesboro, was
arrested for deposit account fraud. Bond was set at $345.

Clarise Koger reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Chris Shaw reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Wednesday, Aug. 21
O'Neal Johnson, 28, of 5472 A River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for
simple assault, criminal trespass, interference with a 911 call, possession
of crack cocaine, giving a false name to an officer and possession of
drug related objects. Bond was set at $5,580.
James Jerome Williams, 42, of 2735 Wyatt Place Road, Louisville, was arrested
for terroristic threats. Bond was set at $1,100.
Georgia Lue McNeely Shaw, 71, of 205 Smith Ave., New Ellenton, S.C., was
arrested for DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road and for being
in violation of the open container law. Bond was set at $1,790.
Willie Edward Washington Jr., 29, of 2933 Henry St., Augusta, was arrested
for driving with a suspended license and failure to dim headlights. Bond
was set at $1,445.

Thursday, Aug. 22
Thelma Tina Harris, 41, of 954 A Thompson Bridge Road, Waynesboro, was
arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery. Bond was set
at $1,200.
Ronald Anthony James, 30, of 5087 A River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for aggravated battery. Bond was set at
$2,350.
Robert Bridges Jr., 45, of 6712 River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for
disorderly conduct.
Deputy Brian Jackson reported a suspicious person with a medical problem.
Investigator Dan Lowe reported the recovery of a runaway juvenile.

Everett Lee Huckabee, 45, of 1246 Farmers Bridge Road, Keysville, was
arrested for being a habitual violator, driving with a suspended license
and failure to stop at a stop sign. Bond was set at $3,350.
Daryl Lynn Dye, 27, of P. O. Box 332, Midville, was arrested for burglary,
theft by taking and burglary.
