Burke County Sheriff
The
following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's
Office for the past week:
Tuesday,
July 30
Mildred Ashby reported an incident of financial transaction card theft.
Wednesday, July 31
Jimmy Lewis Flakes, 51, of 4918 River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested under
the Family Violence Act for simple battery and cruelty to children in
the second degree. Bond was set at $2,725.
Jimmy Lewis Flakes Jr., 30, 4918 River Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for simple battery and cruelty to children
in the second degree. Bond was set at $2,725.
Timothy Scott Dove, 32, of 2504 Pine Top Road, Hephzibah, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for battery and cruelty to children in the
second degree. Bond was set at $2,200.
Erica Lasha Heath, 26, of 3480 Highway 56 North, Lot C, Waynesboro, was
arrested under the Family Violence Act for criminal trespass and for four
counts of cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was set at $2,875.
Mattie Bell Williams, 57, of 140 Aberdeen Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
for no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $575.
Ada Roach reported a burglary.
Willie Brown reported a burglary.
Terry Self reported trouble with another male subject.
Betty Jean Royal reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Thursday, Aug. 1
Clarence Eugene Johnson, 46, of 910 Charles H. Perry Ave., Sardis, was
arrested under the Family Violence Act for theft by taking. Bond was set
at $1,100.
Donna Stewart reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Lilian Mock reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
Richard Gavin reported unknown damage to his vehicle.
Friday, Aug. 2
Desmond Reshun Hughes, 20, of 718 A Briarwood Apartments, Waynesboro,
was arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Bond
was set at $1,100.
Timothy Bernard Harper, 18, of 718 A Briarwood Apartments, Waynesboro,
was arrested for aggravated assault. Bond was set at $5,300.
Keishawn Monique Young, 24, of 523 east 8th St., Waynesboro, was arrested
for being involved in an affray. Bond was set at $1,100.
"Tawanda Davis Darlington, 27, of 200 Mills Road, B-16 Briarcliff
Motor Home Park, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple assault. Bond was
set at $1,100.
Phillip Jones, 53, of 160 Warren Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for DUI,
driving while his license was revoked, no proof of insurance and weaving
on a roadway. Bond was set at $3,120.
Desmond Keshun Hughes, 20, of 718 A Briarwood Apartments, Waynesboro,
was arrested for battery. Bond was set at $1,100.
Wayne Robert Martin, 47, of 418 Hancock Landing Road, Waynesboro, was
arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery and cruelty
to children in the second degree. Bond was set at $2,725.
Joe Frazier reported a burglary.
John Davis reported an incident of theft by taking.
Saturday, Aug. 3
Mamie Jo Davis, 48, of 604 Chatham St., Sardis, was arrested for aggravated
stalking.
Monie Edward Jones, 26, of 7454 River Road, Lot AA-12, Waynesboro, was
arrested for driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
Bond was set at $1,675.
Jessica Elaine Loren, 30, of 1512 M Corley Road, Hephzibah, was arrested
for theft by deception.
Nathaniel White, 25, of 234 Rays Bridge Lane, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for battery and cruelty to children in the
second degree.

Police Department for the past week:
Monday, July 29
" Reginald Studier, of Squeaky Clean Laundry, reported an incident
of theft by taking.
Wednesday, July 31
Christopher Michael Walker, 21, of 122 Cain St., Waynesboro, was arrested
for obstructing an officer, fleeing an officer, no proof of insurance,
failure to stop at a stop sign and excessive noise. Bond was set at $3,465.
Sunday, Aug. 4
Sharonda Herndon reported an incident of simple battery.
Melissa Ellison reported finding a piece of property.
Jimmy Miller reported an incident of vehicle contact.
Cpl. Bobbie Jockel, of the WPD, reported having trouble with a male subject.
Nathaniel Golden reported the theft of a bicycle.
Monday, Aug. 5
Katherine Harrison, of Kentucky Fried Chicken, reported a theft by taking.
Grady Ponder, 44, of 615 Cab Drive, Sylvania, was arrested for driving
with a suspended license and speeding.
Bruce Lamont Wesby, 23, of 2710 Ben Hatcher Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for battery. Bond was set at $1,625.
Christina Nicole Thomas, 18, of 803 Davis Road, Apt. #601 Waynesboro Gardens,
Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for aggravated
stalking.
Karen Royal, of Dollar General, reported having trouble with a female
subject.
Willie Mims reported losing a cell phone.
Torrell Jones reported finding a piece of property.
Ronald Cross reported a burglary.
Walter Frost reported damage to his property.

Jerome Sharpe reported the theft of his wallet.
A juvenile reported finding a piece of property.
Diana Bostic reported an incident of simple battery, cruelty to children
and someone pointing a firearm at another.

by taking.
Elizabeth Lyons reported someone entering an auto.
Betty Lee Washington reported an incident of criminal trespass.

Ravin Washington Jr., 38, of 708 A St., Waynesboro, was arrested for DUI.
Tom Junior Kelly, 27, of 1071 Ada Drive, Wrens, was arrested for driving
with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
Emigdio Ramirez reported losing his wallet.
Walter Frost, of Wal-Mart, reported a theft by shoplifting.
Michael Harris reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Mary Webb, of Jet Foods, reported someone drove away without paying for
their gas.
Harold Herrington reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Thursday, Aug. 8
Tony Robert Flakes Jr., 19, of 139 Beasley Lane, Sardis, was arrested
for theft by taking. Bond was set at $3,200.
Sgt. John Landrum, of the WPD, reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Hillary Tucker reported damage to her vehicle.
Chris Shaw reported an incident of theft by taking.
Laurena Lawson, of Jet Foods, reported someone driving away without paying
for their gas.

Friday, Aug. 9
Renzo Whitfield, 35, of 837 J Hwy. 25 South, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for battery. Bond was set at $1,100.
John Masters reported someone entering an auto.
Gautam Desai, of Raco, reported someone driving away without paying for
their gas.
Saturday, Aug.10
James Jenkins reported the theft and later recovery of his vehicle.
Michael McKinney reported an incident of criminal damage in the second
degree.
Jeff Billips, of Harveys Supermarkets, reported an incident of disorderly
conduct.
Sunday, Aug. 11
Jamey Troy Harden, 21, of 425 7th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for interference
with police, discharging a firearm and disorderly conduct. Bond was set
at $1,127.50.
Earl Rudolph Warren, 43, of 1410 Westgate Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for battery, simple battery and cruelty
to children in the second degree.

Twilia Bobo reported a suspicious incident.
Alice Ellison reported having trouble with a female subject.
