Burke County Sheriff
The
following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's
Office for the past week:
Friday, July 26
Katherine Marie Sanders, 21, of 3025 Hensley Circle, Augusta, was arrested
for theft of services. Bond was set at $1,100.
James Ulyesses Brim Jr., 23, of 976 Jones Ave., Waynesboro, was arrested
for theft by taking. Bond was set at $1,100.
Saturday, July 27
John Robinson, 45, of 179 Gresham Ave., Keysville, was arrested for DUI.
Bond was set at $1,100.
Monday, July 29
Jimmy Findley Jackson, 36, of 3030 Carswell Road, Augusta, was arrested
for theft by conversion.
Shirley Brady reported losing her cell phone.
Elbert Hightower reported an incident of theft by taking.
Tuesday, July 30
Amanda Rose Miller, 39, of 2880 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, was arrested for
theft by receiving a stolen motor vehicle, theft by taking, disorderly conduct
and giving false information to an officer.
Steven Bernard Young, 38, of 2880 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, was arrested for
theft by receiving a stolen motor vehicle, theft by taking, driving with
a suspended license and criminal damage to property in the second degree.
Kevin Stone, 18, of 532 Drone Road, Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family
Violence Act for disorderly conduct.

Monday, July 29
Shelly Elaine Wilson, 27, of 1211 Leslie Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested
for forgery in the first degree. Bond was set at $2,150.
Eddie Eastmead, of Pro Gas, reported a stolen license plate.
Minnie Hughes reported a public quarrel.
Sgt. John Landrum, of the WPD, reported a suspicious incident.
Tuesday, July 30
Shannon Corey reported having trouble with a female subject.
Elis Alston reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Mary Waters reported damage to her vehicle.
Ladonna James reported a theft in her home.
Benjamin Sutton, of Harveys Supermarket, reported a forged check.
Wednesday, July 31
Gussie Adams reported an incident of simple battery.
Louis Wimberly reported an incident of theft by taking.
Antonio Bush reported a burglary.
Hendrick Lambert reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Johnny Vaughns reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed
his property.
Thursday, Aug. 1
William John Cupp, 46, of 868 Baduly Street, Waynesboro, was arrested for
DUI and driving an unregistered vehicle. Bond was set at $717.50.
Deshazuir Rouse reported someone pointed a firearm at him.
Sonya Owens reported having trouble with a female subject.
Cynthia McManus, of the Burke County Tax Commissioners Office, reported
having trouble with a female subject.
Melissa Redd reported losing a piece of property.
Friday, Aug. 2
Reanna Robinson reported having trouble with another female subject.
Frederica Crumbley reported damage to her vehicle.
Saturday, Aug. 3
Vivian Sanders reported an incident of theft by taking.
Cassandra Wesby, of Jet Foods, reported someone drove away without paying
for their gasoline.
Walter Baxley reported losing a piece of property.
Bruce Dye, of Popeyes Chicken, reported an incident of simple battery.
Daisy Brown reported an incident of vehicle contact.
Debra Richardson reported an unruly juvenile.
Louis Wimberly reported a piece of stolen property recovered.
