The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's Office for the past week:

Friday, March 29


Calvin Clyde Harris, 20, of 1864 Ben Hatcher Road, Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Monday, April 15

·Henry Wayne Syms, 54, of 622 Lake Pearl Road, Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for being involved in an affray. Bond was set at $345.

Tuesday, April 16

·Vicki Lynn Barlett, 39, of 351 Royal Lakes Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple assault.

Terry Franklin Syms, of 882 Lake Pearl Road, Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for being involved in an affray. Bond was set at $345.

Wednesday, April 17

Cail Jackson, 39, of 687 Hwy. 25 South, Waynesboro, was arrested on two felony counts of forgery in the first degree.

Thomas Whitfield reported a burglary at his residence.

Alberta Williams reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Pamela Clayton reported the theft of several items from her vehicle.

Thursday, April 18

Cedrick Sanchez Rhodes, 17, of 437 Long Road, Girard, was arrested for driving away without paying for his gasoline and burglary. Bond was set at $3,250.

Alan Shane Newsome, 25, of 547 B Moxleyville Road, Blythe, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery, simple assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, burglary, criminal trespass, cruelty to children in the second degree and interference with a 911 call.

Sharon Melissa Foy, 34, of 3608 Richdale Drive, Augusta, was arrested on five counts of theft by conversion. Bond was set at $5,500.

Elizabeth Sheppard reported an incident of simple battery.

Shirley Brady reported an incident of criminal damage to someone's house.

Orlando Arita reported an incident of criminal damage to property in the first degree.

Travis Seigler reported an incident of simple battery.

Friday, April 19

Reginald Miles McGee, 19, of 231 Long Road, Girard, was arrested by the GBI for burglary. Bond was set at $2,150.

Kevin Ladale Roberts, 17, of 2929 Murray-Hill Road, Sardis, was arrested by the GBI for burglary. Bond was set at $2,150.

Brian Delancy Williams, 18, of 239 Long Road, Girard, was arrested by the GBI for burglary. Bond was set at $2,150.

Margie Bethelle Travis, 33, of Apt. 2-B Meadow Wood Apartments, 730 Bargeron Ave., Sardis, was arrested by the Sardis Police Department under the Family Violence Act for aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime. Bond was set at $5,350.

Roosevelt Travis Jr., 42, of Apt. 2-B Meadow Wood Apartments, 730 Bargeron Ave., Sardis, was arrested by the SPD under the Family Violence Act for simple battery. Bond was set at $1,100.

Tabitha Elizabeth Flakes, 28, of 2106 Ashley Drive, Augusta, was arrested for burglary. Bond was set at $2,150.

Shirley Ann Nair, 39, of 510 Lee St., Waynesboro, was arrested for aggravated assault.

Lt. Franklin Parker, of the BCSO, reported the recovery of several stolen items of property.

Isidro Medina reported a tractor-trailer sideswiped his truck.

Saturday, April 20

David Cambern Fulmer, 48, of 2116 Casell St., Augusta, was arrested for DUI, driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain a lane and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $2,890.

Daisy Lawrence reported someone damaged her vehicle.

Michael Donald Schildt, 20, of 5126 Remington Court, Lilburn, was arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bond was set at $1,100.

Jason Lee Holiday, 19, of 4477 Velva Way, Lilburn, was arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bond was set at $1,100.

Thomas Dwayne Alger, 19, of 231 Remington Drive, Lilburn, was arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $1,675.

Spurgeon Green Jr. reported that someone is tampering and destroying his mail.

Josephine Reed reported someone damaged her vehicle.

Peggy Jones reported an incident of stalking.

Willie Bernard Herndon, 28, of 201 Waynesboro Gardens, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple assault, simple battery and willfully obstructing an officer.

John W. Givens, 49, of 6th Street, Waynesboro, was arrested for interference with police, shoplifting up to $1,000 and a previous outstanding warrant. Bond was set at $563.

Rose Washington reported having trouble with a subject.

Richard Koonce reported an incident of aggravated assault.

Nick Cummings reported someone stole his vehicle with the key inside it.

Gene Boseman reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

Tangia Senita Dixon, 30, of 2705 Princess Court, Augusta, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Joseph Frazier reported receiving terroristic threats.
