The following arrests and incidents were reported
by the Burke County Sheriff's Office
for the past week:
Tuesday, March 26
Angela Skinner, of Noah's Personal Care Home, reported having trouble with
a resident.
Wednesday, March 27
Dephine Robinson reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Herman Zipperer reported the theft of various items from a trailer.
Thursday, March 28
Herbert Walden reported an incident of theft of services.
Essie Mae Johnson reported someone damaged her vehicle and stole her tag.
Friday, March 29
John Harley reported the theft of several items from his property.
Shanell Wright reported the theft of a bracelet from her residence.
James Tarver reported the theft of a pit bull dog.
Ken Murphy reported a vehicle fire.
Elizabeth Solesby reported that someone often takes her newspaper.
Latosha Sherrod reported the theft of a bracelet.
Saturday, March 30
Bill Dozier reported the theft of various items from his hunting club.
Sunday, March 31
Geri Joyner reported the theft of an ATV.
Monday, April 1
Maxie Lee Cobb Jr., 27, of 1105 Clark Place Road, Way-nesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for possession of a firearm during the commission
of a crime, criminal damage to property in the second degree, cruelty to children
in the second degree, battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Ronnie Stone, 27, of 5562 Hwy. 24 West, Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia
State Patrol (GSP) for speeding (74/55 mph zone) and driving while his license
was suspended. Bond was set at $1,445.
Michael Dishmond reported the theft of his vehicle.
Larry Jenkins reported that someone stole his car with the keys left inside
the vehicle.
Jason Houston reported finding what he believed to be marijuana in a vacant
mobile home.
Tuesday, April 2
Shaun Anthony Pierce, 24, of 276 Claxton Road, Girard, was arrested by the
GSP for driving while his license was suspended, obstructing an officer, attempting
to elude an officer and operating a vehicle with defective equipment (headlights).
Bond was set at $3,645.
Alberta Williams reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Lataisha Webb reported her vehicle was damaged by a hailstorm.
Robert Peters reported the theft of several trolling motors and an assortment
of candy.
Wednesday, April 3
An employee with the Burke County EMA reported an abandoned and burned vehicle.
Julie Lewis reported losing her cell phone.
Alex Brigham reported an incident of stalking.
Lora Crockett reported an incident of harassment.
Christopher Quick reported an incident of damage to property.
James Jordan reported an incident of criminal trespass.
Thursday, April 4
Eric Richard Quick, 26, of 131 Collins Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for
possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute, possession of
marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during
the commission of a crime. Bond was set at $31,650.
Roshawn Santez White, 24, of 1240 Cates Mead Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
for the criminal attempt of armed robbery, possession of a firearm during
the commission of a crime and pointing a gun at another.
Marion Leon Hamilton Jr., 20, of Apt. 3 Orchard Hill Apts, Waynesboro, was
arrested for simple battery. Bond was set at $1,100.
Friday, April 5
John Russell Dixon, 22, of 2172 Cates-Mead Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
by the GSP for DUI, violation of the Georgia open container law and speeding
(80/55 mph zone). Bond was set at $1,790.
James Leroy Thomas, 34, of 4873 Hwy. 23 South, Waynesboro, was arrested for
DUI and failure to report an accident with damage. Bond was set at $1,100.
Saturday, April 6
Richard Allan Diehl, 49, of 2361 Willis Foreman Road, Hephzibah, was arrested
on two counts of harassing phone calls. Bond was set at $690.
Sunday, April 7
Andrew Alfonzo Singleton, 17, of 140 Aberdeen Road, Waynesboro, was arrested
under the Family Violence Act for terroristic threats, cruelty to children
in the second degree and disorderly conduct.

Chris Ann Lewis reported an affray involving several juveniles.
Benjamin Sutton, of Harveys Supermarkets, reported two forged checks.
Melissa Williams reported losing her cell phone.
Tuesday, April 2
Ernest Calvin Johnson, 25, of 514 Pine Needle Road, Way-nesboro, was arrested
for the violation of a parole warrant.
Beth Wilson DeLaigle, 35, of 1282 DeLaigle Road, Waynes-boro, was arrested
for shoplifting up to $1,000. Bond was set at $375.50.
James Gary Hodges, 47, of 1521 Hwy. 56 North, Waynes-boro, was arrested for
DUI and driving in violation of the conditions of a limited permit. Bond was
set at $1,290.
Elmunzo Sentell Harris, 19, of 4696 Hwy. 80 East, Waynes-boro, was arrested
for DUI, speeding and driving while his license was suspended. Bond was set
at $1,276.75.
Anthony Lovett reported his vehicle had been damaged by an unknown means.
Wednesday, April 3
Albert Lee Grubbs Jr., 19, of B-2 Briarcliff Trailer Park, Way-nesboro, was
arrested for theft of a motor vehicle (over $500) and a Family Violence warrant
for criminal trespass.
Miles Moody reported having trouble with a female subject.
Karen Roberts reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole a CD player.
Ernestine Lovett reported someone damaged her vehicle in an attempt to steal
it
Martha Braddy reported someone stole her brother's unsecured vehicle from
her residence.
Malinda Gay reported the theft of her vehicle.
Maryann Darlington reported the attempted theft of her vehicle.
Linda Mae Grubbs reported someone attempted to steal her vehicle.
Rex Wright reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
Garnett Gaines reported losing her cell phone.
Rachel Thomas reported receiving harassing phone calls.
