The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's Office
for the past week:

Wednesday, Dec. 19

Emma Jean Stidons reported that a vehicle was taken from her residence without her permission.

Thursday, Dec. 20

James Gary Hodges, 49, of 1520 Hwy. 56 North, Waynes-boro, was arrested for DUI. Bond was set at $475.

Annie and Renisha Smith reported a fight involving a juvenile.

Joyce Segrest reported losing a check.

Jack Harrison reported the theft of 12 compact discs (CDs) from his residence.

Beatrice Johnson reported damage to her vehicle.

Friday, Dec. 21

Jessie Deondra Bush, 28, of 119 North Jones St., Midville, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery and cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond was set at $1,675.

Thomas Letbetter reported damage to his mailbox.

Benjamin Sutton of Harveys Supermarkets reported a counterfeit check.

Patrice Mitchell reported a building code violation and property dispute.

A juvenile reported the theft of a vehicle.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Mark Crockett reported someone entered his vehicle and took a CD player and 4 speakers.

Rosa Jenkins reported a case of criminal trespass.

Jeniffer Lingenfelser of Burkehaven Corner Store reported someone drove away without paying for gasoline.

Christopher Quick of Affordable Automotive reported a suspicious incident.

Sgt. John Landrum reported a disturbance and property dispute between two individuals.

Sunday, Dec. 23

Jerome Baxley reported being involved in a verbal altercation.

Willie Ellison reported damage to an iron table and chair set.

Sharon Lowe of Murphy's USA reported trouble with a patron.

Monday, Dec. 24

Zakai Osborne reported damage to her vehicle and being involved in a verbal altercation.

John Dykes reported losing his cell phone.

Christene McCollough of Swift Trucking reported damage to a tractor-trailer.

April Kelly reported being involved in a domestic quarrel.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Kendrick Batrell Jones, 27, of 507 Clark Place Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple battery under the Family Violence Act. Bond was set at $2,675.

Derrick Jones, 21, of 614 Wallace St., Waynesboro, was for simple battery under the Family Violence Act. Bond was set at $2,675. Demario Aliphes Lewis, 22, of 245 Highway 24 West, Waynesboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $155.

Viola Holmes reported the theft of a VCR from her residence.

Tamille Bell reported being involved in a domestic quarrel.

Angela Williams reported being involved in a domestic quarrel.

Cleo Williams reported being involved in a verbal altercation.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

John C. Young Jr., 39, of 339 Davis Bennet Road, Millen, was arrested for operation of a vehicle without required decal and driving while license was suspended or revoked. Bond was set at $675.

Lorenzo Louis Phillips, 26, of 535 Pilgrim Way, Waynes-boro, was arrested for DUI.

Teresa Robinson Dishmond, 30, of 1432 Bates Road, Way-nesboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $155.

Terry Ann Jones, 34, of 803 Waynesboro Gardens, Waynesboro, was arrested for operation of vehicle without required decal, driving while license was suspended or revoked and no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $708.

Ruby Duggan reported being involved in a domestic quarrel.

Pearlie Holmes reported the theft of $360 and various jewelry items from her home.

Officer Matt Raulerson reported his patrol unit was hit several times with eggs.

Edward Lewis of McKinney Concrete reported the theft of a toolbox and various tools.

Duke Rouse reported damage to his vehicle.

Thursday, Dec. 27

Michael Young, 27, of 1659 Grays Grove Church, Waynes-boro, was arrested for a probation violation. Bond was set at $110.

Daniel Lee Allen, 35, of 609 7th St., Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery, cruelty to children and criminal trespass. Bond was set at $2,775.

Sgt. John Landrum reported an incident involving a mental subject.

Melvin Russell reported losing his wallet.

Friday, Dec. 28

Rico Abrams, 17, of 103 Washington Place, Waynesboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $155.

Cindy McPherson reported losing her purse that contained cash and various items.

Keith Bonner reported someone entered his vehicle and took a CD player.

Virginia McKinney reported the theft of five table fans, an air conditioner and an antique mirror.

A 16-year-old juvenile reported the theft of a CD player, $25 and a pair of boots from his vehicle.

A security officer reported finding a white rock and powder-like substance in the Kwikset parking lot.

Saturday, Dec. 29

Ken Jones reported that someone struck him.

Cenetnia Lewis reported that someone assaulted her.

Sunday, Dec. 30

Leslie Medlock reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Aluan Bryant reported that someone cracked her vehicle's windshield and stole a decorative item from her garage.

James Below reported that an unknown male shot at him twice with a BB pistol.

Catherine Simpson reported that someone backed into her vehicle and then drove away.

Tawana Chance reported a verbal altercation.

Thursday, Dec. 20

John Andrea Wright, 44, of 2558 Pine Needle Road, Heph-zibah, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for aggravated assault. Bond was set at $21,050.

Jonathan McMillan reported receiving harassing phone calls and terrorist threats.

Arthur Osborne reported his residence was burglarized.

Friday, Dec. 21

Jermaine Rodgreus Cumm-ings, 29, of 309 Trout St., Mid-ville, was arrested by the Mid-ville Police Department under the Family Violence Act for simple battery. Bond was set at $1,100.

Barbra Flores reported an incident of criminal trespass.

Melinda Scott reported losing her cell phone.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Robert Logan Owen Jr., 24, of 585 Autumn Road, Heph-zibah, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for simple battery. Bond was set at $1,100.

Deputy Glenn Newsom reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

Don Smith reported that someone burst the windows out of his camper.

Monday, Dec. 24

Charles Anthony Scott, 44, of 8718 Hwy. 305, Waynesboro, was arrested under the Family Violence Act for terrorist threats and criminal trespass. Bond was set at $2,725.

Frank Bernard Cooper, 35, of 1051 Bates Road, Waynes-boro, was arrested for deposit account fraud. Bond was set at $345.

Sidney Dixon, 47, of 1193 Alexander-Munnerlyn Road, Sardis, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) for driving under the influence (DUI) and failure to maintain lane. Bond was set at $1,445.

David Maddrick, 66, of 1911 Middleground Road, Waynes-boro, was arrested by the GSP for DUI and failure to signal while turning. Bond was set at $2,200.

Johnny Mack Brown, 52, of 2434 Hwy. 24 South, Sardis, was arrested by the GSP for DUI and driving while license was suspended. Bond was set at $2,200.

Raymond Lenell Carter, 42, of 336 Washington Dr., Way-nesboro, was arrested by the GSP for leaving the scene of an accident with damage and driving while license was suspended. Bond was set at $2,200.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Michael Marucka reported someone entered his residence and removed several items.

Edwin Cates reported an incident of criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Anjela Eskew reported her home was burglarized.

Tina Burnett reported her dog was injured.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Demond Andre Cobb, 25, of 4092 Story Mill Road, Keys-ville, was arrested by the GSP for driving while license was suspended and speeding. Bond was set at $1,445.

Thursday, Dec. 27

Ann Anderson reported someone entered her home and took a stereo, six speakers and a phone charger.

Friday, Dec. 28

Amen Rule Hutto, 25, of 1848 McDade Road, Augusta, was arrested by the GSP for DUI, failure to maintain lane, failure to dim headlights and tire requirements. Bond was set at $2,135.

Rico Denor Abrams, 17, of 103 Washington Place, Waynes-boro, was arrested by the GSP for obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $1,100.

Estelle Whaley reported someone threw a piece of asphalt through her window.

Charles Hall reported the theft of a vehicle and then reported that same vehicle recovered. ú Leon Bynes reported the theft of a metal utility shed. ú Cynthia Walker reported a vehicle theft.

Annie Hopkins reported someone came onto her property and cut holes in several pairs of pants hanging on her clothesline.

Maudie Green reported an incident of theft by taking and criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Deidre Smith reported someone entered her residence while she was away.

Saturday, Dec. 29

Gloria Jones reported damage to the meter box of Bob Bobs Restaurant.

George Golphin reported an incident of simple battery and theft by taking.

Sunday, Dec. 30

Tonisha Loreal Bennett, 18, of 1002 Hwy. 80 W., Waynes-boro, was arrested by the GSP for driving while license was suspended, speeding and violation of the Georgia seat belt law. Bond was set at $1,790.

Joseph Tyrone Williams Jr., 23, of 216 Persimmon Drive, was arrested for driving while license was suspended, no proof of insurance and taillight requirements. Bond was set at $2,020.

Nicholas Longworth Warren III, 35, of 129 Annie's Lane, Hephzibah, was arrested for theft by taking (motor vehicle). A property bond was posted.

Minus Abrams, 61, of 773 Hwy 25 South, Waynesboro, was arrested for DUI and failure to maintain lane. Bond was set at $1,445.

Gregory Cowart reported someone was illegally dumping trash on his property.

Erika Jordan reported an incident of theft by deception. ú Robert Bridges reported an incident of criminal trespass.
