      Mary E. McElhannon, 70, of Gough, Ga., entered into rest on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Brentwood Terrace Health Center in Waynesboro, Ga. She was born in Lexington, Ga., on Sept. 21, 1939, to the late Tom W. and Leila Saxon McElhannon. She grew up in Georgetown, S.C., and was a member of First Baptist Church there. She moved to Gough in 1994.
